What a better way to spend the day: running around the arboretum's vibrant gardens and trails. The kids loved the fountains, crossing the bridges, and sprinting through the forest looking for hiding places. Their favorite area was the bamboo forest- we played there for an hour! They pretended they were panda bears and tried to climb the long poles, and then found some dead bamboo branches and played swordfight. Later we went over to the pond and they used their bamboo "fishing poles" to try to catch some fish. I love their imagination- don't you want to be a kid again living the simple life?? :)
